Select “Sign In” from the home page and you will be asked to enter your email and password you use at td.org. This will validate your registration and allow you access. The system will redirect back to the platform and you can begin planning your schedule!

Internet Connection
You will need a stable internet connection to view conference recordings on-demand and to view the live sessions taking place January 25 - 28.

Laptops/Desktops
We’re partnering with Pathable for our virtual event platform, which you can access on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. To attend ATD TK on the Pathable platform, we strongly recommend using the Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge browsers for the best viewing experience. If you do not have access to those browsers, we recommend downloading the ATD Virtual Conference App on your smartphone or tablet (see below).

Install Zoom for easier use.
Install Zoom Client for Meetings to participate in private meetings, coffee and after chats, Hands on Learning sessions, and Q&A with solution providers.. If you will not be participating in private meetings or the networking opportunities, you will not need to download Zoom; the sessions will be viewable within the virtual platform and mobile app. We highly recommend downloading Zoom to take advantage of these networking opportunities. Having the software installed on your computer or device in advance of participating and being logged-in (a basic, free account is all you need) will make it easier for you to use all of the technical features.

Mobile Phones/Tablets
If you’re unable to access Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, we recommend downloading the mobile app from the Apple or Google Play app stores; search for ATD Virtual Events and then choose ATD TK.

Our team is here to help you have the best possible experience during ATD TK.

  • If you are having a technical issue with the platform, please use the Help button at the bottom of the homepage or under “My Account” to submit your issue.
  • For nontechnical issues and other questions, please email virtualconference@td.org for assistance. We will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

Planning & Preparing for Your Virtual Conference Experience

The ATD TK will be very similar to an ATD live conference, minus the sore feet. There will be more than 60+ hours of content, falling within 7 learning tracks, as well as opportunities to network, connect with ATD Staff, and download resources that you can view off-line. However, just like a live experience, you will maximize your experience by planning out your schedule and identifying your main goals and top priorities. And all sessions will be available on-demand after the event.

Conference Programming

Keynote Sessions:
Our keynote speakers are some of the biggest names in the field. These sessions will be presented live at 11 a.m. EDT, Monday (1/25) and at 4 p.m. EDT, Thursday, (1/28).

Scheduled/Live Sessions:
Sessions with a specific time indicated on the agenda, January 25-28 will run LIVE at that time, unless otherwise indicated. The speakers will be available via live stream to present and answer audience questions. Byte-sized learning sessions are pre-recorded, and speakers are encouraged to be available via chat during the session’s scheduled time.

TK Solution Showcase
The TK Solutions Showcase is a specially curated agenda brought to you from our solution providers. These sessions are a mix of live and pre-recorded content and provide a great opportunity to explore solutions and delve deep with some of our solution providers. After the session ends, make sure to stop by the Solution Provider's page an “request info” to learn more!

Hands on Learning
Hands on Learning sessions are interactive sessions where attendees will follow along with the instructions on their own device. The session will utilize zoom and participants will need to have access to the required software to participate fully. Please see the session description for the required software for each session. These sessions will require advance sign up and participants are limited to one Hands on Learning session per time block. To confirm your spot, please log-in to the platform and add the session to your agenda or select “Reserve My Spot” from the session page. These sessions are capacity limited, so if your plans change, please update your participation accordingly.

On-Demand Sessions
All live sessions will be recorded and available on-demand by the end of the day, on their corresponding session pages within the agenda. All Byte-sized sessions are pre-recorded and available on-demand.

Yearlong Learning
TK isn't just a four-day event, it's an experience that lasts all year long. Not only will you have access to all of the TK sessions and content for the entire year, but you can also continue your learning with additional live networking, sessions, workshops and more. Make sure to mark your calendar for both our live event and yearlong learning program!

Session Evaluations
Your feedback helps ATD continue to provide top-notch educational programs that help you stay on top of a changing profession.
The session evaluations are linked in each session. To complete a session evaluation, click the Complete Session Evaluation button below the description within the session page.

TK FUNraiser Wrap Party
Join the FUNraiser Wrap Party brought to you in partnership with Liquid Lab NYC. Use the menu list to follow along at home, and our mixologist will share mocktail alternatives throughout the program so everyone can enjoy the experience! This event is included in your conference registration; however, we encourage you to consider our closing keynote, Wes Moore’s, message of serving others by donating in this “give what you can” event. ATD will match all proceeds and make a donation to City Year, an education nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students and schools succeed.

Networking Opportunities

One of the best parts about attending an ATD conference has always been the lasting relationships you build with the people with whom you meet and learn from. Through our virtual platform, Pathable, you will have the ability to connect with fellow attendees in many ways.

Once you’ve logged in, we recommend that you set-up your profile including adding your photo, bio, Twitter and LinkedIn handles, and tags. Customizing your profile will make it easier for people with similar roles and interests to connect with you.

We’ve put together a great mix of formal and informal networking opportunities for you:

  • You can search for other attendees under the People tab (i.e. Attendee Directory). You can scroll through the list or you can select the search option from the upper right corner to filter the list by name, company, or profile attributes such as role, jobs to be done, or areas that you’re looking for help or are in expert in!
  • Join the Discussion! We’ve set-up a few discussions to get you started! Join one of ours or create your own by visiting the Join the Discussion page under the Virtual Lounge tab. You can add photos or share resources (via hyperlink) with other attendees.
  • Share your experiences and insights during sessions where you can talk with fellow attendees via Chat.
  • Visit the Virtual Lounge to collaborate on the TK Spotify Playlists, pin your location on the TK Attendee Map, and participate in the Scavenger hunt.
  • Wrap up your experience at TK by joining us for the FUNraiser Wrap Party.

Prizes!

We know. We know. One of our favorite things is all the great goodies we pick-up at a conference to bring home. Well, virtual goodies just aren’t the same. However, we have incorporated gamification elements in the system, and we will be giving away some fantastic prizes!

How does it work?

Each action you take in the system from the moment you login, provides you with points and badges. You earn points for watching sessions, visiting sponsor pages, participating in networking sessions, downloading session resources and more. For details on how to earn points, check out the “TK Game On” leaderboard within the platform. The top three highest point earners as of 5 PM ET on Thursday, January 28, will win the grand prizes.
