Beyond Paper: Making Your Documents Interactive

Instructional Designer , Trainer/Facilitator
Many designers spend countless hours developing guidebooks, tips sheets, and manuals even though they know that training participants will thumb through their hard work during the session and rarely use the assets again. Despite this, science has proven that when learners are engaged with information, retention is longer-lasting and applied more productively. During this session, gain insight into the reasons, redesign, risks, and rewards of adding interactivity into documentation. Gain insight into adding engagement to any materials used in a training, whether in the digital or physical world, by including links, hotspots, buttons, video, scenarios, simulations, and augmented reality into documentation. We will dive into Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe InDesign, Zappar, Adobe Aero, or Reality Composer to build engaging content to support documents.
